Fernando Martins – President
[email protected] Hello, delegates! I'm currently a senior at Graded School. Thus far I've attended 13 Model UN conferences, serving six times as a Chair and once as Secretary-General. During the year, I sincerely hope that all of you are able to grow as learners and international affairs enthusiasts. While representing your respective countries, I also hope that you are able to understand how perspective plays an important role in international relations and develop an urge to challenge the status quo. Outside of MUN and international affairs, my passions revolve around development economics and politics. I also have a particular interest for how Brazil and Latin America are inserted in the international scenario. Should you have any questions about the program, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. I'm looking forward to a great year! Gabriella Angelo – Vice-President [email protected] Hey everyone! I am a senior from Graded School. I started MUN in 8th grade and since then it has become one of the activities I enjoy the most and am most passionate about. Until now I have attended 11 MUN conferences, 2 of which I have chaired. This will be my first, and last, year as one of the member in the Graded MUN leadership team. I am truly honored and extremely excited to be given the opportunity to work with all of you. I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish this year! Alexandre Jabor – Chief Information Officer [email protected] Hello, everyone! I am currently a junior at Graded the American School of São Paulo and this will be my 6th year in Model United Nations at Graded. Throughout my MUN career I have attended 14 conferences. I have served as a delegate, chair and Deputy Secretary General during my time as a member of the Graded club. Besides MUN, my interests include reading, writing, tennis and international relations! I am extremely excited to be a part of the leadership team and look forward to working with each of you over the next year. Peter Lee – Director of Delegate Development g[email protected] Hello delegates, my name is Peter but people call me Mike. I am a sophomore at Graded School. Outside of MUN, you will find me playing the violin, playing basketball and failing an ollie on the skateboard. I am aspired to see rich and well constructed debates during the school year and helping delegates grow. I can’t wait to work with all delegates this year!! If there are any inquiries, do not hesitate to consult with me. Gian Salles – Deputy Director of Delegate Development [email protected] Greetings delegates and aspiring MUNers! My name is Gianluca and I am a sophomore at Graded. Being my first time serving on the leadership team, I can only imagine the productivity and growth that will be experienced by newcomers and veterans of the club as a result of our collective preparation for many upcoming conferences. Together, I believe we are better able to find complex, yet comprehensible solutions to the world's most pressing issues. Throughout my MUN experience, I have gone to seven conferences – six as a delegate, and one as a chair for the DISEC Committee in SAjMUN 2017 – and I pretend to do even more. I was also given the remarkable opportunity of traveling to Spain for the 2016 edition of MADMUN, in Madrid. Along with that, I was continuously given the privilege of being honored in amazing committees, most of which contained extraordinary people that turned many of our passionate debates into constructive ideas to many suffering regions across the globe. For the remaining duration of High School, I will always be looking forward to meeting each and every determined delegate who wishes to be a part of MUN – and, most importantly, in mutually growing with them. Cheers! |
